Fernando Torres saved Liverpool from another home defeat as the Spanish striker struck in the dying moments to rescue a 2-2 draw against Tottenham at Anfield.
Two goals by Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane looked to have sentenced Liverpool to a second home defeat in four days as Tottenham fought back after Andriy Voronin's opener.
But in stoppage time Torres struck with a far post header to save Liverpool and deliver a shattering blow to Tottenham's under-pressure manager Martin Jol.
It was the least Rafa Benitez's side needed after their surprise Champions League defeat to Marseille in midweek.
Benitez made five changes from the side that lost four days earlier with Peter Crouch, Fabio Aurelio, Yossi Benayoun, Momo Sissoko and Sebastian Leto making way for the return of John Arne Riise, Andriy Voronin, Jermaine Pennant, Alvaro Arbeloa and Javier Mascherano.
