Peter Crouch's late equaliser rescued the Red's from defeat as they drew 2-2 with the Villans at Anfield. The result moved both teams up a place to fifth and sixth in the table respectively, but will be no consolation to Rafa, who now finds his side 14 points behind leaders Man Utd and with only one game in hand.
